The farm has a range of traditional and modern buildings. The farmhouse is a traditional Northumbrian farmhouse built of natural stone and slate. Many of the out buildings and animal shelters are of stone construction also.

There are modern ‘purpose built’ barns and storage areas used for such purposes as winter accomodation for sheep and cattle, the garaging of tractors and the storage of animal feeds, crops and fertilisers.
